FURNITURE & LIGHTING COMMISIONS
We try and keep the commissions process for creating bespoke lighting and furniture as simple as possible. Communication is essential in order to achieve the look and feel that you want. This is how our contemporary furniture and lighting design process works.
ENQUIRIES
The first stage is to explore your idea, which we can do by phone, Google Meets, or arrange a workshop visit to talk through design options and where you can see samples of the materials. Alternatively I can meet you on site if you are local to me. To ensure every client gets my full attention, I only take on a few projects at a time.
DESIGN
All furniture and lighting is custom-made to order. If you would like a bespoke piece I will supply a no-obligation initial sketch and estimated cost, which can be adjusted to meet your requirements.
MATERIALS
I use diverse materials which you can view in the studio or I can send you selected samples to feel the materials and see their true colours.
PAYMENT
Once your design and material have been agreed I will raise your PURCHASE QUOTATION. 50% deposit is required before production with the remaining 50% due before delivery.
PRODUCTION
The standard lead time from receipt of a deposit payment is 6 weeks for large furniture pieces such as sideboards and 4 weeks for lighting. Estimated production times will be included with your design.
DELIVERY
If required the shipping cost will be quoted as part of the final price.
